I'm Ill :-(

I have been off work for a couple of days with the worst cold in the world. Now it's the weekend and I am still ill, not happy. I made this baby hat yesterday with some cheap cotton I got from Lidl. I don't think it looks cheap at all, it's got a lovely finish and I am very happy with it.



The pattern is from Last Minute Knitted gifts. I have struggled a bit to make the bow look nice, but I think that is just me. I want to try and make some matching little shoes, how cute would that be. I just need to find a pattern.
Mothering Sunday tommorrow, I have got some knitting related gifts for KG and Grandma but can't mention them yet!

SECC

Yesterday KG and I went to the Creative Stitches and Hobbycraft exhibition at the SECC. On display was the knitted garden.. a bit silly but bits of it were very good. My favourite part was the mole. The knitted picnic also looked very tasty!

There weren't lots of knitting stalls, but I still managed to get a few things!

Felting Bag....

So I have finished knitting the Booga Bag . I actually had quite a bit of Noro left, so I decided to make a 2nd bottom to stop it stretching so much when stuff is in it. Also made a little pouch for my phone.... problem is I have been washing and washing it in the machine and I can't get it to felt properly... been in twice at 60 now and twice at 90.... what is going on?

It had kind of felted, but I think it still needs more.
